A Michigan elementary school is defending its decision to confiscate a third-graders batch of homemade cupcakes because the birthday treats were decorated with plastic green Army soldiers.

Casey Fountain told Fox News that the principal of his sons elementary school called the cupcakes insensitive in light of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
It disgusted me, he said. Its vile they lump true American heroes with psychopathic killers.
Fountains wife made a batch of 30 chocolate cupcakes for their son Hunters classmates at Schall Elementary School in the town of Caro. The 9-year-old helped decorate the treats with plastic figurines representing World War Two soldiers.
The following morning Fountain said his wife delivered the cupcakes to the front office. The secretary complimented her on the decorations and then took the cakes to Hunters class.

About 15 minutes later the school called my wife and told her the couldnt serve the cupcakes because the soldiers had guns, Fountain told Fox News. My wife told them to remove the soldiers and serve the cupcakes anyway and I believe she may have used more colorful language.

Not outnumbered just lazy. The left is very good at putting their kind on benches, schoolboards, and city councils.

Us, not so much. As much as I rail on the left, it is the slothfulness of the right that is truly the reason for the downfall of the nation.

Heck, I didn't even know there were schools that would allow anything but processed and factory-sealed treats, period!

My kids schools let us bring home made cakes and cupcakes all the time.

Don't take it for granted. Probably just take one whiny parent to convince the school board that parents' homemade items are ripe for terrorist activities

That's just sad. It's just a cupcake with little army men!

I do believe I'm going to be one of the last kids to ever bring a toy gun in a school. I was probably around 7 and brought one of those toy revolvers to school with me with other students as well...I forgot why, but I do remember being told to keep it in my backpack till recess. Imagine that now, if a cupcake and poptart can do this!

I'm getting sick of both democrat and republican party, cause all they do is basically nothing, cause nothing good for us gets done. Time for a new party to form.
