Scent Control Base Layers

I'm updating my hunting underwear/"base layer" gear & wonder if anyone's used the X-scent stuff or any other of the silver-ion fiber garments? I've done ok with scent control using plain stuff & washing it in the proper detergent & using scent killer, just wondering if this is the right stuff to take it up a notch or two?

Hot or Cold ???? The scent skins from Cabelas and Visa Endurance from bass pro. These are hot only, I have used in the cold and they made me colder but I love them in the hot weather....
