What are y'all's thoughts on this gun? Worth the money? Is it accurate? If so out to what yardage. Looking at possibly trading for one and don't know anything about them. I know it would probably slay yotes and small game, but what about deer?

I hunt with a 223 and have for years. The deer in my profile pic was shot from 215+ yards straight thru the heart. I find it great for open field hunting. Thick underbrush can easily throw your shot off. Hope this helps

Shooters pro shop often has the 64 grain Nosler ammo and/or the bullet for handloading. The loaded ammo is in stock. As an endorsement almost, this is one of DA's favorite rounds but he does load his own.

The 70 grain Accubond is another extremely good option. BE SURE your twist rate is 1:9 or better-1:8 is what I own, would prefer 1:7

The 60 grain Partition flies very well and kills them dead as dead can be.
