Have been going every year for the past 20 years
Stay at the Sanibel Inn or the Sundial (we get a full condo on the beach, not a room)Sundial is best place but alot of people, large complex
Have stayed at Loggerhead
Best Western has a great place if you want a room only, has a great resturant

if you want to go fish lookup Bryan Ball Tarpon Fishing. Took a redfish trip with him and it was awsome.

My in laws have a place there and it is wonderful!

Very secluded, no chain resturants, except a dairy queen.

Beautiful beaches, I could go on and on, and I typically hate the beach!

You will need sandals for the beach. Otherwise the shells will cut you to pieces. Otherwise, it's great.

Bring a short heavy rod and some jigs. Wander around the seawalls/docks and jetties with a white/blue metallic jig. Vertical jig around them like you were crappie fishing.

HOLD ON! If you are quiet there is a good chance a snook will smash your jig and try to steal your rod.
