Good luck finding one. I looked around and found every caliber but the 7-08. I got a go wild for my kid in 6.5 not that long ago.

Good luck on your search. I hope you find one. I have a Ruger American in .22lr and it is crazy accurate. Best head shot 22 for squirrels I've ever owned.

What I am starting to hear is, since the introduction of the 6.5 in this model that they have cut way back, or maybe are discontinuing this caliber? This is just scuttlbut. It does make sense though?

I wouldn't if I were you. Let's see if we can count the ways:

- The RA is one of the best values in rifles, if not all firearms, extant today
- It's light and handy
- 7mm-08 kills deer like the Hammer of God
- It's light and handy


All the above, of course, are all it's bad points.
