Well, as of Dec 1st road kill observations have resumed to normal. The only difference is its about 3 weeks behind my usual experience.
This week two new dead bucks on i-24 to the pennyrile in KY.

Deer collisions claims in my office are starting role in as well. Im also seeing a lot of deer off the roads on my drive home at last light.

Also, if you drive a white chevy and hunt off the Pennyrile in Hopkinsville I have some sad news for you. You have been persistent in your hunting, seen your truck most mornings driving in. Unfortunately a absolute toad of a buck was laying dead in the median Monday morning, almost still steaming fresh but someone cut his antlers off before I could tell what it was. Body and neck wise he was a toad.

Seems like there's been a post-Christmas boom in roadkill in the Bradley-Hamilton-Meigs-Rhea County area. Also saw several deer tonight grazing next to I-75.
