My "advice" is ancient history(years ago), but I doubt if anything has changed in patterns, be it in the past or tomorrow. Creek mouths, where the slack meets the current, eddys, particular at the head of one, and/or where the current comes into the bank and goes upstream and down from the same point, and, I don't know if there are any brown bass where you fish, but we always did well for smallies where rock jetties or rip raps extended into the current disturbing it, usually would be found on an outside bend.
