Rifled slug in a rifled barrel.

I've bought some rifled slugs but I have a rifled barrel 12ga. I've never had a rifled shotgun so I wasn't sure if I can use the rifled slugs in the rifled barrel.
looking for recommendations.

I shoot rifled slugs through my 1187 with rifled barrel all the time. Probably put 1000 rounds through it, easy.
And it is a tack driver.

They say don't do it because accuracy at longer ranges will suffer. If you are under 100 yards, you probably won't notice much of a difference. At least that's what I was told when I was trying to decide on a barrel type.

Extra spin from the extra rifling maybe?

You can shoot them. The reason they aren't recommended, is the soft lead of the slug really leads up the barrel.

I think like shot its in a shot cup but never cut 1 open, reckon google could say

Looks like it has a wading, going to hunt 1down and cut it apart to find out lol
