Removing broken part from threaded ramrod

Unfortunately, this season I broke the threaded section of my T-handle off in my ramrod. Do you think a basic left-hand drill bit and broken screw remover back the broken threaded section out of the ramrod or will a need something special?

Left-handed drill bits are the way to go. Often when using them I never have to use the screw extractor because the drill bit will pull the broken screw out. The most important thing is to be in a rigid setup so that you stay centered in the broke off screw. If you get off center you will really mess up.

You might be able to solder a screw onto the broken piece and then use a screw driver to remove it. Removed a bunch of broken screws using that method. Depends on how good you are at soldering and how much h is sticking up/out.
