Sold/Expired Remington 700 Classic 300 Win Mag

This is a Remington 700 Classic in 300 Win Mag in excellent condition. The 300 Win Mag was Remington's "Classic" rifle in 1995. This will
come with the Japanese made Nikon 3x9x40 on Leupold rings as shown.

I don't know the history of this rifle but my son-in-law is a gunsmith / gun dealer in Alabama and took this rifle in on trade several months ago and I bought it from him…I ultimately decided that the rifle is simply too nice for me to hunt with. I'm not a collector so I'm going to sell it. It appears to have been shot very little, if at all. The stock is perfect except for 2 very small spots by the loading port which won't show up in the pictures.

I prefer not to ship and I don't mind holding on to the rifle for the buyer until we can meet….I am really not in a hurry.

$1,000 is the price as it sits. I've watched several sell without scopes on Gunbroker for over $1000 recently so if it doesn't sell here I will list it on that site. I will accept also PayPal with no additional fees so you can buy on credit if you'd like.

Excellent rifle that David K. Has for sale. The Remington 700 Classic Rifles are very well made Rifles that shoot very well. I still own the Remington 700 Classic in 257 Roberts and used to own and stupidly sold the Remington Model 700 Classic in 35 Whelen that I bought brand new. Both of them are excellent shooting Rifles but the 257 Roberts is a tack driver. Whoever purchases this rifle will be pleased with it to either collect or use to hunt with.
