Is the remington 700 cdl still being made? Looking for one in 300 win mag. Every where I look they are not available or out of stock. Not sure if they quit making them or is it due to the availability due to the surge in firearm and ammo sales.

I was watching cdl stainless fluted rifles back when they were around 800, was going to buy one in 270 but never did. I still get watch notifications from gb on them, most are $1100 + for buy it now nib when they have them. Hate I passed on some good opportunities. May plug in what you are looking for at gb and sign up for watch notifications.

May try buds, they used to have a decent stock of cdl's.

I have no idea if Remington is still producing now but no matter what you are looking for, it's going to be darned hard to find it. I know that I'm very pleased with my CDL bought back in 2010. I glass bedded it right out of the factory box and it shot the 1st two handloads into .6 moa and has every since. I paid $875 wholesale since I have a FFL and it's worth every penny of that!

I'd say that you are probably just as likely to find a CDL as any Winchester model 70, They exist on Gunbroker if you are willing to pay what they are asking.

The model 70 is rather easy to find in stock. But the remington is non existent. Even on gun broker. I much prefer the Remington 700 over the model 70. I can wait. No rush on it.

I just lucked into a good one....I'd been looking for a 300 Win Mag and a few weeks ago, my son-in-law, a licensed gunsmith and FFL in AL, located a Remington 700 Classic in 300 Win Mag which was the "Classic" chambering for 1995, and he bought it for me from one of his regular customers.

The rifle came with an older Japanese made Nikon from the same time period, Leupold rings and bases, all in nearly perfect condition for $650.

Definitely a better gun than what they produced the last few years.
