Really dumb scope sighting in questions

Cross hairs on bullseye and move to bullet hole

Which one is it? Crosshairs on bullseye and move to the bullet hole, or crosshairs on bullet hole and move to the bullseye. Not much of a scope man myself so that's why I'm asking.

If you forget which way is correct, look through the scope while twisting the turret in the direction it needs to go for correction. If it hit low, then it needs to move up. When you start going up the crosshairs will move down toward the bullet hole. That's the way I remember anyway.

my advice get it on paper make a good adjustment shoot a 3 shot group if it makes YOU happy adjust from the center of that group
