Quick question - turkey call

Hi all,
To start with, it's not me, but my son, who plans on trying himself in turkey hunt. I've never been a fan of duck and turkey hunt, as I prefer deer and big game. Anyways, seems like it's time for both of us master something new haha
I was wondering, what kind of turkey calls do you folks use?
Is there a call that you can recommend for someone who's just a beginner? I mean, something that both of us can quickly learn to use.

I came across these 2 that seem pretty much okay to me, but wanted to ask you folks before I go and buy 1.

A quick update. If there is someone here who makes good calls, I'd appreciate their contact info...

I'd look up stringmusic on here and maybe go to the NWTF convention in Nashville this weekend. There will be a bunch there and he can get some calling pointers from the folks that built each call.
