This is random. I don't know if they use these around other areas but lately around Nashville I have been seeing some sort of contraption that has Metro PD on it. It isn't the big thing that tells you how fast you are going when you get close to it but it is something that is pulled behind a truck by a hitch. They leave it in parking lots and on the side of the road, it usually has flashing blue lights on it and kind of a tower thing that is maybe 10 or 12 feet high with two black "bulbs" that I assume have cameras in them.
Does anyone have any idea what these things are?
