Without knowing what your wind direction is, I would sit right between those 2 800 contour circles. Playing the wind, you would have to shift around a bit.
Agreed. Another spot I would at least check out is between the second 800 circle and where the big ridge starts from there. I've never hunted terrain similar to this but it seems like that would make a neat little tunnel deer might funnel through

Thanks guys I'm definitely going to do some scouting after my hunt saturday morning just no time to do it until then. The land is actually part of prentice cooper just trying to find somewhere to put my son a deer even if its just a doe he'll be happy with it

Soddy Daisy, yes it's a real place
Try and find another backup spot cause with it being a youth hunt and the location where you want to hunt someone may beat you in there. That area is pretty easily accessible to the local folks on that side. Good luck over there Saturday and I don't know if they're doing the whole "get together" up top at the check in station but TWRA and some other folks make it a big deal for the kids and it's always a good time.

My arrow points to a prominant terrain change that can funnel deer. If it was the rut i would hunt this. Right now they are wherever the food is, but it is likely this is still a very good spot. View attachment 117088
This is also the end of the long draw and a slow transition to the high points. Will funnel the deer from both sides up the ridge.

I've hunted between those two 800 circles before, no success but seemed like a good spot. Be careful about you access, you will find a lot of beds in that powerline
