I use S-Biners. I have a really big one that I took the clip off of one side and that's so I can grab and lift my bow/gun without having to use both hands
I use this and the hero clips. I use the modified S biner for my pack and the hero clip for my bow/rifle. I put some electrical tape on the hook part to help with noise control.

Same here, but I cut a tad off the hook and wrapped in tap. 20220823_224838.jpg

I took one of the hook ends off a old small ratchet strap and threaded it on my diy version of my strap. I hang my bow from it.

Hero clip here. I would like to take the time to try a thinner gear hanger system than the HYS but the Heroclip stays in the back regardless

I use the S shaped carabiner as well. I like it but I don't think it's the best option. I am sure there is a better option I just haven't found it yet.
