I was reading up on his college career and the article said that during his time there he became the greatest QB in Iowa State history. I thought that sounded a little funny as I couldn't remember any other ISU quarterback. I agree with your comment though. I love a good underdog story. I hate he got hurt.

Bidness is bidness in the NFL so would expect SF to move on without him if he is not ready by the start of the season. Not a lot of loyalty now days.

He was third string, plenty of teams need something that resembles a qb. Just hope there’s a team that paid attention and if he doesn’t get a shot at San frans spot, maybe someone will grab him that needs one.

I was just thinking if Purdy wasn't ready the 49ers would play 10 men on offense and operate without a QB, or just forfeit all their games until he can play. Now I know they will move on without him and play another QB. Thank you again. I am in awe of your great knowledge.
