What kind of snake and what did he hit on? Did he fight much? Catch and release? I still remember the time in W TN when I saw 21 snakes in one afternoon. Actually, probably the same snake 20 times plus one other snake. Lots of cut lines!

Ruger, outstanding catch! In NW TN?
Yellow Bellied water snake is my guess, he looked a little too cottonmouthy to me for catch and release. and he swam by me so we eliminated him from the gene pool. I knew he wasn't just a black snake the way he was swimming in the water.
