I thank you all. It has been a tough few days. I know you've all gone through it, so there's no explanation necessary. I just wasn't prepared. This is the most attached I've ever been to a dog. They truly are parts of the family. Thanks again.

Fred turned 13 in March. He was 6 when I met him. My ex gf got him when he was 6 weeks old. There has never been a dog more loved. He had a great life, but way too short. I would post a few pics of him, but I don't think I can handle it right now. Hopefully your lab has many more good years left in him.
