Which would you guys prefer? I'm looking for my wife, and she likes both. I haven't decided yet.

If it was me id go with the 238, but it's not my gun, it's hers

P238 owner and love it. As someone told me when I was shopping around its the Cadillac of the .380's. Haven't shot the PPK but I had a P22 and it was a fine gun but very picky about ammo.

My mom just got the P238....it's a pretty sweet piece. I do have a couple complaints about it, though.

1) It's tricky to field strip & reassemble. See if the gun shop will let you try to compare the disassembly of both pistols
2) The P238 doesn't have a decocker. You must drop the mag, eject the chamber, then dry fire the pistol. I'm not too keen on that.

Otherwise, it seems like a great little gun. My mom really likes hers. I would imagine it's going to be more pricey than the Walther, though...
