I will never understand why this organization garners so much support from the American public. I am convinced many of their supporters do not fully understand what they are supporting. They look at Planned Parenthood and only see inexpensive birth control and mammogram referrals. They either don't see or they ignore the very dark side of this organization.
Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.
"So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because Im almost in disbelief," said Rep. Jim Boyd. "If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?
I have short circuited many abortion discussions with "pro-choice" folks by making the following observations -
1. Abortion statistics indicate that abortion mostly kills future Democrats. In fact, some minority leaders consider abortion to be genocide targeted at minority communities. Most minorities vote Democrat as do most single white women.
2. Planned Parenthood's vision of a nation with "abortion on demand", combined with getting more Planned Parenthood facilities, abortion clinics and free birth control into heavily Democrat, inner city communities, will reduce future Democrat numbers by the millions. Of the millions of future voters who have already been snuffed out by abortion, a large majority are most certainly Democrats.
3. This aspect of Democrat population control is a "silver lining" in the otherwise dark world of abortion.
When I portray abortion as Democrats "eating their young", I usually get a much different reaction from "pro-choice" folks than when I speak to the morality of abortion. The former seems to hit home. The later, not so much.
Planned Parenthod was started by a lady who believed in eugenics, that was her reason for starting what turned into PP. I do not believe they haved moved far fromt their original position and that makes me wonder why the black/minority community is so silent. What I should say is the minority leaders because it seems as if most minority church's are anti-abortion.
I though that Bush passed an executive order, "Born-Alive Infants Protection Act," that made it a federal requirement to provide care to a child in a "botched abortion attempt." Why is this even being discussed in a state legislature?
