You might be right. Sunlight on the lower rear leg and winter coat coming in on those other spots.

I assumed since it was black and white that it was dusk or dawn ruling out sunlight.

But if it was during day, I agree

Hmmm, with some cameras that transition period from daytime to nighttime pics and vise versa can give you some really dark to whiteout pics. I sure hope it is a piebald tho and you can get a chance at her. If you do, it's going to cost you though. Them full body mounts are expensive!

IF it is piebald I wouldn't shoot one that small. Gives me a year or two to save up.

Black and white pictures on any camera I have used wouldn't be reliable enough for me to know. Definitely looks interesting.

I'm leaning towards sunlight on a molting deer, but a second picture would certainly help. Would be weird to see a piebald where the white is a straight line across the leg and belly. But then anything is possible.
