Pedestal plan?

Okay guys I've looked around and probably not looked hard enough. Does anyone have some plans/schematics to make a nice pedestal for a mount? If I can't find anythinf, I may just brake down and make a easy square one.

These are a few of the ideas I had in mind. I'm trying save money and just make it myself.

I made this octagon base for my last mount. This pic is before it being finished, we added a couple plants. Had about $50 in it.

Thought I would try it. Just finished the wood work part. Still need faux landscape for the base. Any suggestions? About $100 - $125 at the moment.
