Shot these about a month or so ago. Didn't center them up just wanted to see how the shells shot. With the choke. I am patterning for the season in about a week or so. These were all at 40 yards.

First one is a 12 gauge Mossberg 535 with Indian Creek .660 3" 2oz #9

Second one is a Stevens 301 20 gauge with Jebs .565 3" 1 5/8oz #9

Third is the same gun and load with a Jebs .560

I was lucky enough to finally get.my.hands on a brand new Indian Creek .562 for the Stevens so I will pattern with that also. I had also patterned my 835 and Indian Creek .675 but can't find the photo.

Do you use #9 just for patterning or can you kill a turkey with it?
A #9 TSS is has dense has a #5 lead. TSS weighs 18.1 grams per cubic centimeter and lead weighs 11.3 grams per cubic centimeter ( I think those are the exact numbers). So yeah a #9 will hammer them and.i use them for hunting
