My little girl loves them 😑
They are “fun” to watch and have a cute and cuddly appearance but if you ever get to watch them work in the wild you would understand. They are always in groups and one will work the structure running out the fish. The others are waiting on said fish to come out and ambush like torpedoes going through the water. Probably the most proficient predators I’ve ever seen. They will absolutely destroy a fishery. Especially a small creek or pond.

Of all the strange things I've caught on trail-camera, I actually got video last year of two otters loping through one of my food plots, closely pursued by a bobcat! I have no standing water on my place. They must have come from the Buffalo River, about 1/4 of a mile away.
