Including smokepoles.

Three 1000 yard ranges east of the mighty Mississippi and they ban .50 cals and suppressors.

Turning into Kommiefornia......

Are you saying that they are banning muzzle loaders as well? I guess I broke the rules when I sighted my Encore in last weekend. I havent heard anything about smoke poles, but I knew they banned 50 BMG back in January.

Sako, I checked all the recent Rangefinders I had and didn't see or don't remember seeing anything concerning this issue.

I was told this by guys in Oak Ridge.

Tennessee Turning into Kommiefornia great thats all we need.

I will show my ignorance here, what is ORSA? I looked it up on the internet and came up with many things I doubt it stands for. I know the range I belong to restricts the 50BMG because folks have loaded some military grade loads that blow thru the berms. The high dollar range in Memphis, which has a 600 yard range resticts the 50 for the same reason. I "heard" but cannot verify that they used to allow them, but the damages started piling up, but this cannot be confirmed by me.

Tyrants have always feared an armed citizenry and have always sought to disarm their people before carrying out their worst outrages. Has anyone in the US ever been murdered by a .50 BMG rifle? NO. But they just might so we had better ban them. Our socialists are acting so fascist these days, both Hitler and Stalin would be proud.

Thank you for the information. Just asking, but has anyone asked ORSA why they are banning the 50? I was going to ask the range I shoot at, if it were possible to build up one berm lane to allow the 50 round. (I really want the Armalite 50, but won't buy it until I have a range to use) Perhaps suggesting a stronger berm would change thier mind?
