I have this Oregon chainsaw sharpener that I no longer use and is taking up space in my shop. Model 511A1 with a 300w motor in integral light. Comes with a diamond wheel that will sharpen all chain up to .404" pitch. Also comes with the manual and a nifty chain gauge. Motor housing end cap has a couple cracks and chips; does not affect use or operation; see pics.

Price change to $80, Ardmore TN; will not ship.

How difficult are these to learn to use with out destroying a dozen chain before hand?

Not hard at all. You can adjust how much it will cut into the chain saw teeth. Which means you can set it for light cuts until you get a feel for it.

There are three total adjustments: the tilt, left/right and forward/backwards. Once I got the tilt and left/right, I never changed them again. I only adjusted the forward/backwards, depending on the chain and how used it was.

If I can do it, anyone can. I destroyed zero chains.
