Here is the video of my full opening weekend on public land. Two different WMAs, 2 days of hunting, 2 dead public land longbeards.

Video is 15 minutes long , hope you all enjoy it. It covers the best of the whole hunting experience and not just the kill shots.

Self filmed with a camo'd out tripod and my Lumix FX75 point and shoot in HD video (click the gear icon in the video player and switch to 720p if your internet connection is good).

I couldn't be more fortunate, and never would have guessed my weekend would go so well. My goal was always an opening day gobbler, but I really would not have hoped or guessed for 2 birds in the first 2 days. Thank the Lord for a good start to the season.

Great video...love your persistence. 12 hours on Sunday is an impressive hunt. You probably needed 2 Sundrops.

dude the weirdest thing is that I didn't have a single sundrop that day, I almost got one on the way home but stopped at the wrong gas station and then just wanted to go home. You are making me want one now....

Great job! I'd like to know how to make that tube call you had. It sounded better than most mouth calls. Congrads again.

As someone that knows how hard it is to film, especially film solo, I must say that is outstanding.

Now, PLEASE go pattern shoot that gun and put some adjustable sights on it. Your POA and POI can't be the same as much as you are missing!

I have patterned it and it shot great 3 days before season, I think my error was getting too excited and looking a little over the barrel thus shooting over the bird. I'd say its the beads fault but it was mine for not concentrating on the shot enough.

Awesome video Cat!

As far as the misses, I believe you are on to something. You may be looking up just a tad early. Be sure and stay down on it to follow through and let the gun bring your head up after the shot.

Congrats on the birds!

yeah I am pretty sure I didn't have my eye down low enough so the bead was level with the rest of the barrel. I don't remember for sure, which is why I think that is the cause. When I shot that bird at sunset, I made sure to center the bead exactly where it is supposed to be and the bird dropped stone dead...
