One more down

A very short walk thru the woods this evening got me one squirrel. I'm building up to a pot of squirrel and dumplings. Got it with the trusty Browning lever gun.

Use to be, you could get enough squirrels for dumplings in one trip. Sadly, not so any more.

I got stuck with one too. I mainly shoot them off the deck. Got about 10 saved up. I'll be glad when they get out of the tops and stay on the ground.
