The meet & greet will be held at Natchez State Park in Lexington.

Ok [color:#FF0000] the date will be the 1st weekend in May, The 3rd and 4th.

Please post if you are planning on attending and what food you will be bringing.

Please bear with me on this deal. This is my first time organizing anything like this, so I am open to any suggestions and help yall may can offer.

We will have the pavilion at Pin Oak all day Saturday and for the pot luck supper Saturday night.

Camp sites are available at the Pin Oak camp ground. They are $25.00 per night plus tax. They can be reserved online or you can call the park @ 731-968-3742. I was advised that this needs to be done ASAP let them know you are with tndeer.com so they can group us together.

For those that want to stay at the Inn the number is 731-968-8176. There are about 20 rooms available as of this time, so if you want a room do it ASAP. They may can give a group rate depending on how many stay, so the sooner we can get signed in the better. Just let them know you are with tndeer.

Plans for the weekend: A fishing tournament to be @ Browns Creek Lake, It will start at 1:00 and weigh in will be @ 5:00 ( we will have to weigh and take pictures due to the limit restrictions, we will get the details worked out ). John boats will be for rent for $11.00 a day so bring your trolling motors. If you have your own boat, bring it! There will be prizes for big fish, smallest fish, and what ever else we can come up with :)

We can also have a turkey shoot at the firing range ( Prizes for this as well, Details to be worked out )

There will also be a raffle and door prizes for Saturday night. Proceeds from the raffle will pay for the pavilion and the rest we will donate to St. Jude.

To be continued ..........

I won't be fishing but I would be glad to help with weigh in, and other setup and documentation.. Since I live about 45 mins away and will need to check on things at work that morning before coming up, I won't spend the night but SURELY I can stay late enough to eat that night :D
I have some deer steak and tenderloin I can bring or I can see how this plays out and bring other stuff - drinks, bread, chips, etc..

I'll be there so long as nothing unexpected comes up. No idea what I'll bring but I'll try to get something we don't already have. I will not stay overnight (I live in lexington)

*I've never fished Browns but I've heard you need a permit.. may need to check into that.

I will plan on being there and bringing food. Thanks for taking the leadership role "in this dog house". Sounds like you've got a lot more planned than just meetn and greetn. May may work better for a lot of guys and gals. The cabins and lodges are very nice also !

You sure? I was told last year when I was checked by a gamewarden I still had to have the permit aside from the sportsman license. Either way they have a honor sytem at the boat ramp for those needing the permit.
