So, is this the cold weather that is supposed to thin ticks and mosquitoes, or is that just an old wives tale, I have had enough of this, and it's just early January!!

Cold weather killing off mosquitoes is a wives tale. Go up north, even Canada and Alaska, and you will see that the mosquito problem is worse up there.

I've heard the skeeters are so big up in Alaska that they even mate with the turkeys sometimes! :shock:

When I went camping in Canada, I once killed a horse fly, pulled out both backstraps, grilled them for dinner and couldn't finish because it was too much food.
