In the previous thread, SCN responded with the following about a non-licensed hunter assisting in processing a deer:

Can you please clarify the point at which "hunting" (requiring of a license) ends and the processing of meat begins? I always understood it to mean that any activity afield constituted "hunting", including the tracking & retrieval of fallen animals.

Based on this response, it sounds like once the animal has fallen dead, the "hunting" is over, and anyone can assist however necessary. Is this correct?
