New to Kingsport Archery Deer Hunt

Hello I just moved to Kingsport and have been wanting to get into the woods and see if I can find myself some deer. I have been looking at the North Cherokee NF and a few other places near by. Does anyone have any advice? From what I have researched so far there is alot of pressure on public land here. I have no issue working hard to find them. I just need a little guidance in getting the ball rolling. Any advice I would appreciate!

From what I've seen, the WMA's and NF get quite a bit of pressure especially on the weekends. There's a lot of TVA land that is open to hunting (not all TVA land is, so make sure); but alot of it is easier to access by boat/kayak and smaller or narrow parcels.
