Well Christmas came early for me this year. Picked up a savage 11 trophy predator xp. In 6.5 creedmoor. This is my first savage and first 6.5. Came with a looks to be a cheaper bushnell scope. I'm gonna take it to the range today and sight it in. I'm very excited.

Yeah that's the plan. Gonna use it for this year and swap to a votex next year.

No it has the 22" barrel. So far it's a smooth shooting rifle. But I did find a crack in the stock. Gotta call savage in the morning.

One of the best bangs for your buck are the Redfield Revolutions 3-9x40 , they have by far one of the best eye box on a scope. I have looked through many scopes including some 3x times the cost. The Redfields are very easy to get behind and find your sight picture with the forgiving eye relief. I'm not knocking other scopes like Vortex but I just looked at a viper yesterday, turned it up to 14x and the eye relief went to crap. Now look through a Redfield and see how easy it is.
I have Leupolds , Zeiss, and I like my Redfield just as much...
