New prefit for my Savage Axis

I'm looking into all the options of replacing my barrel. I'm looking for suggestions on which manufacturer to go with. I know these opinions will be far and wide, but would like pro and cons of your experiences please. I know I'm going with a matte stainless, 24", 1:9 twist in 280 AI. The rifle will be used for hunting only, nothing more. Curious on thoughts of what contour as well. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PacNor barrel - #3 contour; 9 twist; 5 groove.

I'd check out criterion barrels for a savage prefit. Northland shooters supply are great to deal with.
