New, old toy

My brother and Dad, picked up this gun for me at a gun show a week or 2 ago. I've always been a fan of the older looking black powder guns (so don't laugh) lol, and they knew that. Can't wait to make the air fill with smoke to try it out.

Looks to be in good condition but might want to get it checked out real good before you shoot it.

Yeah, I cleaned it up already (took barrel and the side plate off, and oiled alittle), and everything seems to be in working order. I even blew alittle on where the cap goes on, to make sure it wasn't clogged or anything, and I did hear the air passing through.

I may take it to a gun place a few miles down the road, let them look at it, and while their get everything I need to fire it.

Looks like one of those derringers that Dixie Gun Works use to sale. Maybe they still do.
