Decided last season I was tired of looking for trees that were straight enough and branchless enough to climb with a conventional climber. The areas I hunt frequently have few or no climable trees with a conventional stand. Recently I ordered a "Lone Wolf" alpha assault model and a set of Lone Wolf climbing sticks to reach some of those harder to hunt spots. Heres some pics of the unit. I'm impressed cause the climbing sticks fit right onto the stand its self. The 4 sticks weigh 10 lbs and the stand is 8.5 lbs so its an easy carry. I just took a little walk with this outfit on and was impressed at how it carries. Tomorrow or next day, I'm gonna field test it on several trees to see how it handles.

The Alpha assault was 179 I believe and the 4 stick combo was about 151 but that included shipping. It should prove to be an effectively mobile platform.

I'm curious as to how comforable it will be after sitting for a couple of hours.
I can tell ya it ain't gonna be an all day type of stand. I can also say I likely will NOT be sleeping in it like I did the Viper stand. ;)

Nice setup ! Practice with the setup so you can do it quickly and quietly in the woods .
Once you get a system down , it's not too bad .

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. If I ain't comfortable I'll pack my stuff and leave. I'm all about comfort. :)
