My new "Cowboy" rifle came in yesterday.

Taylor's & Company (Uberti) 1873 Checkered Straight Stock Rifle, 18" in .357MAG. Custom Tuned by Cody Conagher at "The Cowboy Shop" in Berkeley Springs, WV. (Short stroke and action job)

I haven't got to shoot it yet, but man this thing is smooth. Butter smooth with a light trigger that breaks like glass. I'm really impressed.

I got this is .357 to possibly do some cowboy action shooting with, or just as a range toy, but you guys that hunt with a lever might want to check these out in the larger calibers.

To OP, that's a FINE looking rifle! I got one back in the winter chambered in 45 colt. Ive got every intention of taking it to TX in Nov and killing a deer with it, just because.
