I would like to buy a beginner compound bow and would like ya'lls opinion on a brand, price, ect. I had an old Bear that was stolen earlier this year when some punk broke into my cabin and stole all my guns. Looking for something cheap.

Bear has several priced between $400-$600 in the ready to hunt package meanining all you need to buy is arrows and points. I have shot several of them and I can assure you that even though the price is cheap by today's compound bow prices they are not a toy but a serious bow.

I would buy a Bear or Mission bow, good bows with price ranges for everyone, I've had major problems with PSE bows, don't like them what so ever, I shot Hoyt for years but ruptured my bicept muscle going on 2 years ago and its still giving me a fit. Going to buy a crossbow when i can afford to, good luck on finding your bow, go to a pro shop and shoot several and get the one you like and best fits you, good luck!

I had a pse once and will never buy another one.The fletchings were hitting the cables, and the only way to fix it was turning the cable guard a little. It started eating cables like crazy where the two met.No joke,100 shots, and it was getting dangerous.I too would go with a Bear.
