I have never seen wood ducks leave the area we hunt. If everything is frozen solid the wood ducks just move to the Rivers. They are the only ducks we see some days when everything is frozen up.

Had some buddies on Camden this past week and they said the same, no birds. I think they only killed 7 or 8 all week! Terrible
Two days in a row and have not seen a single duck.
Dang that's brutal for sure.
The group that hunted yesterday didn't come back this morning but a new group came and was gone by 930.
Man I hate that for y'all but welcome to East Tennessee duck hunting. I'd be looking for a wood duck hole somewhere close by so y'all could walk into and at least get some action early in the mornings.
East central AR… ran an ice eater all night and morning. Did not see a duck.
They killing any at gooch?
Cross creeks on the Cumberland has been off / weak all year. A good variety of birds but no numbers. Still a lot of food in the bottoms but only a few good flights during shooting hours. I have not fired a shot but have been working down there and see mostly divers.
Our guys have been killing a ton at Gooch this week and weekend.
Lots of Geese moving today at Tully, no ducks, holes froze up.
Lots of geese moving north last two days at reelfoot
1/29/2022 14 degrees at sunrise and we killed a 6 man limit of woodducks. We didn't shoot at any thing but woodducks today.
