My wife and I had just sat down at the George strait concert last night when she got a phone call and started balling. Her dad was being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. We got there as fast as we could.
Over the past couple weeks he had been complaining of random chest pains and feelings. After numerous trips to the doc. EKG. Stress test Etc they said they didn't think it was cardiac related on Thursday and to hop back on what he enjoyed most. His bicycle. He had a brand new one he couldn't wait to ride. Anyways about 6 last night my mother In law and 16yr old son just sat down to eat when my wife's dad started complaining of that feeling again. He was getti g naseous. So she walked him out to the car to Take him to the hospital. She backed out of the driveway and he slumped over. She got him out and did CPR but he was gone. My little bro In law watched his mom give his dad CPR in the driveway until an ambulance came.

About 7 o'clock my wife and I rushed from Knoxville to Maryville not knowing what was going on to find out he had died. I can't believe this. A man of 52 and super healthily and rode bicycles for hundreds of miles all the time. My wife and I and her mother and family need prayers at this time. I can't imagine the pain my wife and her family is going trough. I'm going to miss my father in law I was excited to get 8 months ago. :(. Love and Miss ya Steve.

I definately understand. I wasn't going to talk about it but it might help you. This past Wed. my pastor and one of my closest friend was with me at my office when he collapsed. I called 911 and performed CPR until the emts got there. He passed away yesterday evening. He was 57

Prayers sent. Just goes to show physical appearance doesn't necessarily mean anything. My dad jogged and exercised his whole life and had to have open heart surgery just before he turned 55. People that knew him were shocked. He's now 67 and still exercises quit a bit. Heart disease is in both sides of my family so don't think I don't think about it often. Again prayers sent for peace and comfort
