it may sound silly but my dog sasha is not doin well, not sure what is wrong, her breathing is labored, she wont hardly eat, wont get up. she is about 10 or 11 yrs old. Im worried to death about her. My Boo Boo Princess is such a sweetie, and I hate the thought of something happening to her.

i lost my last rottie at 7 years old with a perforated ulcer, and I had no idea. I went to vet ER at night and couldn't afford to get a diagnosis, etc. My cousin is a vet and an hour away but he didn't make it overnight. hope it's nothing serious.

hey, don't you have a rottie? they are known to be prone to some distended stomachs that will interefere with diapharagm if untreated, but I'm no vet.
yeah I have a rottie too, its not him that is sick, course I need to get him to the vet too, he has a fatty cyst on his side I need to have checked out, but My cocker had the same things. But Sasha is my malamute, shepard mix.

well just brought her in the house , and she seemed like her old self! gave her some meds, she ate her medication filled hot dogs no problem, I dont know what was wrong last night, but she def seems better this morning. thank goodness. but we were lookin at her eyes and they are gettin milky lookin, like she is gettin cataracts. ugh! I hate when my dogs get older, I had my cocker until he was 19 and we had to put him down, hardest thing i ever did, and they say big dogs dont live as long as small dogs, so I really worry bout all my babies now.

It really sucks when you have to put your dog down. I had a dog that was my best friend. Her name was Goldie. Best dog ever! And she got bit by something and so my dad had to take her to the vet and get her put down. That dog was apart of the family. I miss her so much but sometimes its whats best for the dog.

Glad it's better! Putting down any pet is very hard, but it keeps the animal from suffering.
