I lost my rooster this evening. Saw the yote try to get them yesterday but ran him off. Didn't have my gun on me. Stupid…

I've noticed in years past that when they hear the tractors and see the hay down they are very active. This year I'll be setting up overlooking a hay field as it's being cut. Hit a distress call and click off the safety!!!
