If you were closer I'd swap some federal small pistol magnum primers, but Shelby county is a pretty fur piece

No, I dumb, did not know 45 ACP can have Small primer pockets...so large or small 45 ACP primers

Or, better yet, anyone have some 45 ACP loaded up they want to sell?

back story.....
Fellow I know bought a 45 ACP did not buy ammo. Its a Springfield Armory full size pistol. I'm kinda glad he did not buy any ammo because he did not know how to rack the slide, check for round in the chamber, lock the slide, nuttin'.

He has security video of 2 guys entering his property and trying to get into his vehicles when the alarms went off. His wife is a little rattled.

Since you already have small pistol primers I would get some 45 small primer brass

I may be wrong but believe Federal 45 acp has small primer pocket.

Yep. 45 has small and large primer brass.

My buddy asked how much for 200 rounds of loaded factory ammo. I found some at an almost reasonable price and it is now on the way.

Will report back on results when the ammo arrives. Hopefully he can learn to police up his brass.
