N. Korea approves nuclear strike on United States

By Jung Ha-Won (AFP) 20 hours ago

SEOUL North Korea dramatically escalated its warlike rhetoric on Thursday, warning that it had authorised plans for nuclear strikes on targets in the United States.

"The moment of explosion is approaching fast," the North Korean military said, warning that war could break out "today or tomorrow".

The idiots in North Korea better think about their own long term survival. Making nuclear strike threats against the US and other countries is sort of stupid.

Have you seen our president? He'll probably ask for another one...you know, since we deserve it and all.

Never underestimate your enemy.

If they can figure out how to launch from a barge in the Gulf of Mexico over the center of our country 2 miles up it would knock us back to the stone age instantly.

Agreed. I sure hope our fearful leader listens and reacts accordingly and without his normal cowardly ways

Even though it seems contridictory, the main objective in Pyongyang is self preservation. They make these threats all the time and never follow up with any action. Like I have said to others, it is much more about trying to unify their impoverished, oppressed, military more than anything else.

While Un is an idiot.. I don't think he is crazy. Any hostility towards South Korea or the United States would spell the end of his families regime. The world witnessed our special forces assassinate every target in the CIA's most wanted hitlist ending with Bin Laden. Bin Laden had numerous countries he could hide in as well as the mountains of Afghanistan. Who would take in Korean officials? The world hates them and even China realizes that supporting North Korea is not worth deteriorating relations with the United States.

This is much like a child throwing a temper tantrum than it is anything else.

Even if we are hit with a nuclear weapon and if we even had a president with cajones, I don't think the US will or would respond with nuclear weapons. The fall out would reach China,Japan and South Korea. If we did,it would be small tactical nukes, but I'd say it would just end up being conventional bombs, but with that said,we have some extreamly large conventional bombs..Just google MOAB bomb...

Remember what we have for leaders now. They have pulled down our armed forces to where we can't even fight a one front war and even if we could they would peobley stick their heads in the grounds.

That's what scares me.

An EMP is a very, very real possibility.

thats my prediction, and here is an article to back it up.

I suspect he is trying to extort more money from us. My son is stationed in Korea, and said the U.S. media is overplaying the threat, but our military there was well prepared to handle any problems. Maybe the kenyan is trying to make political points.

It'd be worth it to launch a couple of tomahawks from subs just to let him know we don't appreciate the threats and show what kind of damage can be unleashed.

Then again, we have that whole sequestration thing going on..., but we could use that to deny everything.

Didn't NK sink a SK ship a while back and denied it?

These idiots, including the middle east, only understand one thing--fear. This patty cake crap don't cut it.

How would a North Korean barge armed with a nuclear warhead make it into the Gulf of Mexico undetected?

You are joking, right?

I never would have guessed ragheads could fly planes into buildings or an American Embassy could be attacked for 7 hours without the USA doing anything about it.

Then his wife will tell us she's proud of her country for the first time, again.
