My Squaw & my boy are stranded

Yep.

They along with all the begats in the 8th grade at the schoolhouse loaded up on two buses yesterday morning headed to Monticello with plans on going to D.C. this morning.

Well....8" of snow so far and they are stuck at a hotel in Charlottesville, VA with no power!

WHEW!!! Am I sooooo glad I did NOT agree to chapparone this here expedition!!! Can you imagine dealing with 60 teenage boys over half with ADD and 60 teenage girls squalling about not having any access to electronic devices?!?!?

For his part, my boy is proving to be a great example to his Christian-school classmates....he's over in a corner with his cards and chips teaching the younglings the finer points of...poker!

So glad it basically missed us and slammed the upper valley!! They'll get it straightened out....in a couple of days.

60 teenage boys and 60 teenage girls with no power and nothing to do??? Trust me, some of em' is gonna find something to do....I would have and did at that age...Hope the chaperones keep a close eye on them.

When Hurricane Sandy hit New York and New Jersey, those people were without power for just a little while...and now they say they are having a huge baby boom because of it.
