Definitely a slow season for us, sightings were at the very least cut in half, if not more, I never laid eyes on a mature buck, I did let quite a few really nice 2.5s and 3.5s go including one that even with broke browtines(their were maybe 1"-1.5" left) he was probably pushing 130". Hopefully Some of them will reappear next year. All in all we got the meat we needed but it took a doe and my wife finally getting on a buck the last day to accomplish it.

Good deal! My buddy hunting not far from you didn't see near as many deer as he expected to see either.

We'll never know now that your wife killed that buck but I wonder if the G3 on his left side would have grown out straight next year or been crooked again. What's it called when an injury to the antler is "remembered" the following year and repeats itself?
