Hey all! Haven't been on in a while, but I figured I needed to check in to show you guys what I got for sitting in the rain Saturday morning. A special thanks to TNRino for helping me haul this guy off the mountain.

He tried sneaking in on me right after the rain stopped, just after 9am. Definitely made a cold, wet morning worth it.

Nice buck for around here. If u don't mind me asking what area or what county? I rode up dry creek and went in right past the forestry building in that curve and walked straight up the mtn just kinda scouting. Once on top it's pretty easy walking and looks great with 3 or 4 saddles out the top of the ridge. It was 1.8 miles to the back where u can look down on Erwin and Unicoi. Disappointed in the lack of sign and did find 2 scrapes and 3 small rubs. Just not as many deer as there used to be in the big mtns. I also noticed the rd to the fire tower was clesed and the gate to the new road in bumpas cove was closed.
