Congrats and as stated get a Sims recoil pad because it kicks like a mule on both ends. I don't feel a thing though when ole Mr. Tom steps out.

Yep Gravey is dead on. Sight it in on a Lead sled or a vise. You will never forget the recoil of a 3.5 if you try to sight in without a vise. I don't feel a thing when I pull the trigger on a bird.
