Amazing hot, very little to no wind, some cloud cover which helps keep the sun from running you back inside, I'd rather be on the lake in my canoe but since that takes 2 people to lift and I didn't have any one to take with me today, I decided it was time to pull out my shooting sticks and head to 100 yards.

This is NOT my hunting loads gents.

90gr 2fg Goex
.020" patch
Home cast .562" ball
Compressed normally and then HARD. The results were pretty astounding.

Low left is my first 3 shots, normally loading the rifle as I always do. The shots center but strung out, thats compressing the load HARD.

4th shot added to make sure it wasn't me pulling the shots.

What would happen if I reloaded and just let the rifle sit in the shade for maybe 5 minutes? Loaded HARD

So much for this just being a target load, that suckers accurate! Just not accurate enough for my long distance shooting, YET. I plan on seeing if walmart has thicker pillow ticking so I can snug up the fit.
